Immodium during the 2WW?

Does anyone know if immodium is safe during the 2WW?
I could have used it yesterday but didn't take it because I wasn't sure.
I seem to be ok today but incase I might need it again....

I am sure it's fine. First of all the baby might not even be implanted yet let alone develop a bloodstream connected to you. You are fine.

This is what I always thought too, but yesterday morning when I was at the RE office I asked the nurse what I could take for itching "down there" (yet another side effect of progesterone) and she was pretty sure I could take benadryl, but had to look it up first to make sure if it was safe in case I am pregnant.

Of course the need for immodium didn't start until a few hours later.Chat Icon

Only after you find out your PG do you need to check stuff, normally. When I was PG with DD I didn't know till 5 weeks. There were many things I did duroing those 5 weeks that I thought woulda killed her, but she is fine and smart and healthy! My doc says you don't share blood with the baby till 5 weeks, so there are things that are OK even after. But he also says never put your lifeon hold for the what if's. Hope you feel better. And the progesterone symptoms wearoff soon!

I too get anal about drinking and meds during this 2ww-but in reality I'm sure it's fine!

I have been taking benadryl the past two days b/c I've been fighting this awful cold and that is the only thing that works. I tried to hold off, but could not take it anymore! I'm sure it's fine, as others have posted, the baby does not even share your bloodstream yet.
