I believe you get a rise in temp. when you are ovulating...not sure...i don't temp

Charting your temp allows you to determine when you ovulate. Not all women ovulate on day 14. I ovulate late somewhere between day 17 - 19.

No dumb questions around here! It's not a specific temp that determines you ovulated - it's a pattern based on your temperatures which need to be taken with a basal body thermometer at the same time each morning (before you get out of bed or speak).

If you're going to chart, you'll need one of these - you can find it at most drug stores alongside the pregnancy tests and all that stuff.
