You are not nuts! I think that everyone feels the same way. I am 24 weeks and I still check for blood every time I pee or if I feel something weird.

Re: I'm so worried....
It is totally normal for you to worry, but just try to relax and enjoy yourself. I'm not that far along, but I still worry and check, I think it is normal, and just prepares you for worrying for the rest of their lives.

Re: I'm so worried....
Its totally normal. I did the same thing in the beginning except with the boobs, mine never really hurt too bad. I used to take comfort in being nauseous during my first trimester because I figured it meant something was going right.
as someone told me, get used to worrying, from the day you get that BFP, you will worry about your child for the rest of your life!

Re: I'm so worried....
During my 1st trimester I was checking all the time (any time I felt any degree of moistness I was in some bathroom somewhere- and that was summer, so w/ sweat that was really often). I'd also panic when I *wasn't* feeling sick. Its totally normal, try not to worry, this period will be over soon enough.

Re: I'm so worried....
You are not alone. I did the same thing during the first trimester. During the second trimester I relaxed a lot. I wasn't as worried. Now that I am at the end of my pregnancy and past my due date I am again worrying a lot.

Hang in there. I was the same exact way. The worry will lessen as time goes on.

You are not nuts. I think we have all had those worries sometime during the pregnancy. Hang in there, it will get easier.

Re: I'm so worried....
Thanks everyone!!! You make me feel so much better. I kept thinking that i just had this bad intuition or something! My M/S went away about 1.5 weeks ago-so that made me nervous too! But I had a sonogram after that and it showed a healthy peanut! I wish I could go to the doctor once a week to make sure everything is fine! This once a month KILLS me!

Re: I'm so worried....
If you didn't post this, I was going to. I am PETRIFIED of this. I keep checking also whenever I go to the bathroom. It's really sick. Today is the first day I feel really REALLY nauseous though so I guess the baby is doing what it needs to be doing. I just say a little prayer every day and hope that we're doing what's right..
OMG Kelly i check the boobs too! LMAO!! I'll be in the car and suddenly just "test" to make sure. Yup, they still are in agony!

Re: I'm so worried....
This is completely normal. I worried a lot in the beginning, and I still check for blood at 31 weeks.
In the first couple months I had nightmares about miscarrying, then they went away, now I dream about problems during the birth.
I figure when the baby is born, I'll worry that something is wrong too. So unfortunately, I don't think this goes away. A friend of mine told me she still checks to see her 8-year old is breathing at night.

I checked for blood every time I went to the bathroom throughout my entire first trimester.
Don't worry, soon you'll relax about miscarrying and then you'll have other stuff to worry about - like the results your 12 week screening. At least that's the way it worked for me. As soon as I get over one irrational fear I'm gripped by another one.

Re: I'm so worried....
I think most women experience this. I contantly am checking to make sure that I am not bleeding, and I get nervous with the slightest cramp.
fortunately I have not had any bad morning sickness, so I find myself keeping track of all the timess I pee, and checking to make sure by boobs still burt, just so that I know that everything is ok.
I'll be so happy when I hit the 2nd trimester and start to show.

Totally normal to feel this way especially if you've had some issues in the past. It took me almost 3 years to get where I'm at. I had a lot of depressing times so when we found out we were pg it was hard for us to enjoy really.
People ask me now (I'll be 37 weeks Wed) did it go fast and I say no it didn't to be honest. I was so paranoid in my first and 2nd tri. I'm more excited now then ever. I feel great overall and I just can't wait now to see the baby. We don't know the sex of the baby, can't wait

He's a fan of ignoring that particular memo! He's always like, "Do they still hurt? Maybe I should check for you"

you're not nuts. I think we all go through it and it never stops until you meet your child. It's not easy, but will get better as time goes on and you start feeling the baby and grow each day.

Re: I'm so worried....
I feel the same way. whenever I feel any "wetness", I run to the bathroom and even at work, I'll slyly smoosh my boobs with my elbows to see if they still hurt. I get anxious with any stomach cramp. Although at 10 weeks, I'm definitely less paranoid then I was between weeks 5-8. It seems like the next few weeks can't come fast enough so I can finally be in my second trimester!!
