I'm sad...
I just got a call from a very close family member of mine that another family member may have secondary IF.  I was asked for now not to contact the person, as they wanted to let her know that they spoke to me first. Then when she's ready she can reach out to me.
I feel so sad right now.  I am very close with this family member and am hurting for her right now.  Though I'm glad I can be here for her (when she's ready for me to be), I know how scared she's always been watching me go through all of this..... and though she could never fully understand what it's like to be in my shoes, she always tried to be supportive and give me my space when needed. My heart is hurting for her/them right now.
I did what I could and told him (based off the type of IF that she 'may' have) what her next steps should be as far as CD3 bloodwork, etc... and he said that's what her dr. told her as well. This just sucks... I wouldn't wish infertility on my worst enemy, and now one of my best friends is going throug this.

IF is the party no one ever wants to join. So sorry to hear that another is "crashing" the party. I know that she will reach out to you and that you both can be tremendous supports to each other.

Im sorry you have someone close to you dealing with IF.
take this opportunity and support her as well as lead her in the right direction when ready.
As much as I hate that I have knowledge of IF and all it comes with I do try and help others when asked, give them feedback on drs, procedures, etc.

Thanks Donna.  I hate that I have to have this knowledge as well, but am glad that I do at the same time, because it helps me to help others whenever possible.

Shannon im really sorry for your friend to be going thru this as well. She is extremly lucky to have u there for her. It seems more and more people are dealing with IF.

It is so hard, you don't wish it on anyone. I was just talking to my SIL who had IF about how I wish I was there for her more at the time almost 3 years ago, but she said at that time she just needed to be alone. Everyone is different I guess. Your friend is very lucky to have you there to talk to and listen.
