I'm out...
AF came last night, ugh! Didn't think I would be upset b/c it's only our first month "officially" trying, but I am a little sad. Not sure what more I can do or even do differently this month, but any suggestions are appreciated. We have been doing the OPK and every other (well almost) day BD from about CD 8. My cycle has been about 32 days for a few months now. MY LP is 14 days exactly, minus a few hours this month b/c AF was actually expected today...Is that bad?
Also, I was away the 2-3 days leading up to O, but we made sure we BD'd the day I left (Thursday) and the day I came home (Sunday), which is when I got the smiley face.

You got the  that Sunday? If that's right you would be ovulating 24-48 hours after the positive OPK. Sounds like you have a good plan (you definitely had a shot according to what you did) but I would BD the 3 days in a row from when you first get your positive as well.
Better luck next month

even when you do absolutely everything right, you only have a 20 - 25% chance of getting pregnant each month.
keep your hopes up, it will happen!!

Thanks ladies! I always try and be optimistic. I do have to BD for the 3 days in a row this month though. We only did 2 days, skipped one and then a third. We were just so tired, lol! Full swing ahead...

Even with perfectly timed BDing and all the right things, it can take up to 6 months for a couple with no problems to conceive because each cycle there's only a 20% chance of conceiving. So don't get discouraged just yet. As long as you're Oing and BDing, that's like 90% of the battle.
