im off... UPDATED
to go see Dr. B... my appointment is at 4:30 but im walking over to his office so im leaving now!
Just got home... you guys were kidding about the long waits... i thought Shaun was gonna have a hissy... lol i got there at 4:15ish, Shaun got there at 4:30 but didnt see him till 5:45 lol...
and there was a woman who didnt think she should have to take her bag and umbrella off the chair for Shaun to sit... one of the people working there braught over a chair for him... then the lady got a clue and was practically begging him to sit...
ok, so on to Dr B... after going over my history hes pretty confident that its an autoimmune issue... found out that Celiac disease is an autoimmune issue, and since my mom has that he is going to test for it... ive always suspected that i had a mild case of it but was too scared to get tested...
anyway next we Shaun and I are getting blood taken and Shaun will submit a SA... hes very confident that its not MF because of our ability to get pregnant easily.... but just covering all our bases...
Shaun liked him... which is a plus because he can be iffy about certain drs...
ETA: he also said that i probably dont have progesterone issues if i have a normal LP...

Glad you had a good appt. And 1:45 isnt bad for him in my opinion....I never waited for less than 2 hrs

In my opinion his wait time has actually been really improving!! It depends on the day of course.. but in the last year and a half of appointments, I've never been too bothered by it.

Glad you had a good appointment and that Shaun liked him too! Seems like you went to the right doc if you may have an autoimmune issue.

My first appt with him was a sat at 11am, I literally went in to see him at 1pm and was pretty mad.
BUT I am happy to say since then it hasn't happened again. Normally from walking in to walking out it is about an hour to an hour and a half, worst case and that includes whatever i am in there for.
One time I left because I couldn't possibly wait, another time he was in a consult and I was told he'd be a bit longer and so I asked for Sandra to do my sono which she did.
I go to the Woodbury office and DH has never gone with me and was already tested SA prior.

I am a patient of Dr. B and would wait 5 hrs if thats what it took. He has gotten me to my BFP and ALWAYS responds to phone calls and emails. He takes his time b/c each persons case is unique.
Hang in there, it will be worth it. I always bring some reading material and work to do.
I do agree with Pennycat that the waits for me have been better

You can def. have some other auto immune issues even if you don't have Celiac. I'm positive as a carrier, my dad had it, but I'm positive for other auto immune issues with my DH.

I would wait all day long if it means that I can continue with the personal attention that he gives.
