ETS: I did it!!!!!!!!!!! I can breathe!!!!!!!!!! He was very relaxed, and wished me the best of luck, said he knows I"ll be very happy there.

I hate doing that too. Except once where I was treated horribly by the school I worked for- then it was awesome

No, I'm in VA...they don't do that here. 
They are mailing me a packet of forms I need to fill out, so I will be taking that with me on my first day.

that's great that they were so nice about it. My first job - where I was for 4+ years - was mean to me. My last place couldn't have been nicer...that's the way it should be. nobody should blame you for trying to better yourself. Congrats!
