I'm New and TTC
Hello Ladies!
I hope you're all holding up well with the snow. So, I'm new here b/c Hubby and I decided that its time to have a baby. YAY!!!
We're not on any type of bc or anything, just been lucky. Before we start, can you recommend any good multivitamins? Can I get pre natal vitamins over the counter? Do I have to schedule an appt with my GYNO even though I'm not scheduled for my annual yet? sorry for the stupid questions.

Hello and welcome! Remember, no question is ever stupid. We are here to help! I believe any prenatal vitamin (over the counter) with at least 400mg of folic is good. I got mine at Walmart for $4. Good luck!

My doctor gave me prenatal vitamins but I also bought the one a days.

Welcome and good luck!
Before I started to TTC #1, I made an appt with my OB, and DH and I did some bloodwork and genetic testing. He then put me on Rx folic acid. I don't think you HAVE to see your OB before you start TTC, but it's an option.

good luck!
As others said, you can pick up OTC prenatals.
I would maybe make an appt with your OB just to chat, and also depending on your ethnic background, you may want to do some bloodwork for genetic diseases, i.e. Tay Sachs.

i went in for prenatal testing at my obgyn but not evberyone does..u can def wait till ur annual appt if u want
u can also def take a otc prenatal if u want
