im new and need help
hello! im 6-7 wks right now and already having issues. I am having terrible tooth pain. I know its an infection, I had one a few months ago. It was treated by DDS with penicillan so I know that is what he will prescribe now.
everything i read says yeah, its a class B drug so i *can* take it, but im also in the most important time.
anyone take penicillan in first trimester? have any dr input?
i DO have a call in with my dr but waiting to hear back. ive akready had other issues so i am coming across as a PITA!

From what I understand a tooth infection is not something to ignore. I would think an infection that gets into your bloodstream would be a lot worse than penicillan.
I'd call the dr ASAP.

I got a uti with my first pregnancy and they gave me an antibiotic. no worries.. they'll give you something that's safe

I took a Z-Pac for a horrible sinus infection in my first tri. Get there ASAP- tooth infections can be bad!!

i had to have a rrot canal at 6weeks and they gave me augmentin, which my ob said was ok.
