I'm nervous...
I've been having brown spotting for the past week. It's been very light. Today I went to the bathroom and wiped. There was a lot of brownish red blood.
I'm totally freaking out right now. I don't have my sonogram until Monday.
I don't know what I'll do if I have a miscarriage...

I had spotting (red blood) when I was pregnant too around 4 weeks and everything turned out OK. I called the nurse when I started spotting and she said that it's actually common. Try to take it easy (I know easier said than done) and relax. Do you feel crampy? If you are really worried there is nothing wrong with going to the OR for reassurance.

My sister is pregnant now aqnd bleed though her entire pregnancy so far... she is six months now. You should be fine.

I woke up this morning and more of the same thing...now it's REALLY dark brown blood.
I have to say, I'm a little crampy...not too much.
This morning I don't feel sick at all.

brown blood is also old blood, if its red, than i would be bit more worried, but like i wrote on previous post put your feet up and watch some tv. Call your OB anyway and see what they say, if your really worried take at trip to ER.. GL and i for you that everything is okay.

I had implantation bleeding ...I think it was at like 6-8 weeks of my pregnancy..also I think when its brown blood its okay meaning its old...but bright red is not good..why dont you call the DR.

Hang in there. Try to relax, feet up, on the couch.
Typically brown blood is old blood and not something to be concerned about.

i had that up to 9 weeks.. and I'm now 6mths pregnant... as long as you do not have severe cramping I think you'll be ok.

Stefanie, I had this too and it is very very nerve wracking. My best advice is to consult with a doc as soon as possible to put your mind at ease.
My bleeding was more than likely due to implantation which is likely the reason for yours. It is a good sign when there is no heavy bleeding or severe cramping.
Hang in there as best as possible!!!!

Stephanie...as I wrote to you in my FM last week, I am experiencing the same thing for about a week now. Brown spotting with a bit of dark red in it, only when I wipe, and cramping. I also have been cramping the whole pregnancy though so that's nothing new!
I had bloodwork done on Tues and Thurs and my HCG levels did increase- so things are hopefully ok. I am also going for my sono on Monday. When is your due date? I think you and I are the same exact date [10/27 or 10/28]. Maybe it is just what our bodies are supposed to be doing right now!!

Stef - I'm sure everything is fine but I agree with Melissa - you should try and take it easy this weekend. Don't run around too much after Jared (Much easier said then done I know)
Kick your feet up - rent some movies - and take it easy until your appt. on Monday!

I had a really bad scare one morning in week 5....
I wiped and saw bright red blood with a clot (similar amount to a full fledged period).
I went to the Dr. that morning and everything seemed to still be fine. Strangely, it never happened again  I'm going to be 11 weeks tomorrow.
If I can think of anything I did that could have contributed to it.... I think it would be me steamcleaning carpets for 6 hours a couple days earlier.
Call your Dr.'s emergency line and talk to someone. Try to stay calm, and don't do much this weekend
It definitely is scary, but as long as you aren't bleeding heavier than a period and don't have really bad cramping, you likely are not miscarrying....

My last pregnancy I spotted early on. I was so nervous I was having a miscarriage. It turns out it was old blood and I was fine. I hope you will be, too.

Stephanie you said on ur last post that you were seeing your doctor on thursday and you were going to mention it, did you? if so what did he/she say? I hope and pray that you and your baby will be just fine. def. take it easy, try and keep your feet up and pray a lot!!!

I told him that I was spotting when i went to the doctor's office and he told me to go for a sonogram on Monday.
Now I have to wait for Monday...
