Im in stroller HELL
First off, thank you for answering all my annoying questions! I just have no idea what Im doing. I was talked into getting 4 strollers yesterday when registering...and I swear I was dreaming about strollers last night. This is what I got...please make recommendations or tell me where Im going wrong: I got a graco carseat with the snap and go thing. Then I got talked into the whole stroller/carseat combo. It seems really bulky and big to me. I was thinking to eliminate the big graco stroller and just use the carseat with the snap and go until grows out of it. Then I got the Peg Prego Pliko P3. I suppose this would work once the baby is out of the carseat until 40 or so lbs? I have no idea. Its almost $400 so I want it to be worth it. Then I got the Lavagna Swift stroller- which I suppose is an umbrella stroller. When will I need this one and not the peg prego? I dont live in the city, really I need the stroller to do block walks and shopping outings. My mom will need a stroller as well, so should I leave the graco travel system stroller on the registry for her? Or is there a less expensive way to go? Do you understand why Im in HELL!!! Thank you all so much for any help you can give me!!

Re: Im in stroller HELL
You can try going to yard sales and things like that to get your mother a travel system at a cheaper price.

Re: Im in stroller HELL
I would eliminate the Graco. You could even hold off on the umbrella stroller and buy one yourself when your DD will be able to use one--10 mos??
I have the Snap and Go and it's awesome. I also have the Pliko P3 and I use it every day--DD is 14 mos. I own an umbrella stroller too, but never use it.

Re: Im in stroller HELL
I have been using my Peg Perego Pliko P3 stroller since DS was born. He is now 15 months. I used it as a travel system in the beginning with the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio carseat. It is lightweight, but still has basket, tray with cupholder, adult cupholder, recline and huge canopy. It definitely isn't as lightweight as some, but it is a great all purpose stroller. It is the only stroller I have!

I would eliminate the Graco combo and the umbrella stroller. You can always pick up the latter easily if you think the Pereggo is too big and you do not need the Graco if you have a carseat and a Snap n Go.

Re: Im in stroller HELL
I wish I had gotten the snap and go but I went with the Pliko P3 travel system. It worked well and that was the only stroller I had besides a jogger. I still have the travel system through my second DC. I agree you have to many strollers. I would probably elminate the Graco and the Swift. Keep the snap and go, keep the Peg (it an umbrella type stroller and only 18 lbs but fully reclines) and then maybe registery for an inepensive stroller for your mom or find one second hand if it isn't going to used everyday.
