I'm home from the hosptial
I've never been so happy to be home. The surgery went well.
Has anyone ever had surgery for a hernia?
While my doctor was performing my surgery he noticed I had a hernia and took pictures of it. I may need to have another surgery especially since we plan on having a baby early next year.
I'm so tired of seeing doctors!

Welcome home! I'm glad the surgery went well, but sorry to hear about the hernia. My brother had that surgery several years ago and it was pretty routine. I don't have any other advice than that.

I had surgery for a hernia when I was younger - it was on both sides.
It was an outpatient procedure and I was sore for a couple of days.

so glad you're home. take it easy for a few days.
The hernia can wait a while. I know a few women with hernias and they still had babies so maybe you won't have to do anything right away.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!
My friend's DH had a hernia operation last year - in and out same day but he REALLY had to take it easy for a while. No lifting of basically anything until it was nice and healed. One of my coworkers had it done too and he overextended himself and needed to have a second surgery!

Welcome Home!! You must be relieved that the surgery is over and went well.
My brother had a hernia operation when he was younger. He was in and out the same day but he had to take it easy for a few weeks.
