I'm having my baby! UPDATE, we're HOME!!!
went to see my midwife this morning and was contracting and there was protein in my urine.
I was sent to L&D - they inserted a foley balloon to speed up dilation and started pitocin to strengthen my contractions.
I responded really well, my water broke on its own and the balloon fell out in 2 hrs. the pitocin has been turned off and I'm now 8cm, contracting every 2 min.
Doing my best to breathe through the contractions but being confined to the bed (monitors, iv dehydration, antibiotics) stinks. hoping for another pain med free delivery like my 1st.
dh is snoring but there's no way I'm sleeping through this pain! I'm trying to keep myself occupied online.
hopefully we'll have a baby by brunch time!
 
UPDATE!
Thank you everyone, we're all home and adjusting well!!! OMG what a day. Once I posted this Friday morning at 2:30, my labor progressed really hard and really fast. I pushed for 10 minutes!
DS2, Gavin Joseph, was born at 4:48am, 8lbs, 7oz, 21" long and blue as a blueberry. It was the scariest 5 minutes of my life - I delivered his head and the cord was tightly wrapped around his neck. My nurse was screaming for the NICU team and my midwife gave me a small episiotomy to get his shoulders out as quickly as possible. He was yanked away from me before I even got to see him. There was no, "it's a boy!", I didn't get him plopped on my chest, my DH didn't get to cut the cord, we didn't get to delay the cord cut until it stopped pulsing as we had planned, and we weren't allowed to take a photo. Baby was thrown on the warmer and the NICU team arrived within 40 seconds of the call - he didn't cry. He didn't even whimper. We got a low gurgle out of him, but that's it. He had ingested fluid in utero. He was intubated right there on the warmer and I finally exhaled as I saw him inhale, start to pink up and kick/punch.
He was brought to the NICU right away and we sat waiting for an update and birth stats as I delivered the placenta and got stitched up. As soon as I was stitched, I sent my husband to go be with the baby. He came back with incredible news - the baby was already extubated and breathing on his own. They started IV fluids/nutrition and taped a nasal cannula to his face to force oxygen into his nose (room air levels, not concentrated), but the little spunktart kept pulling it off! Within a couple of hours, the oxygen was removed entirely and he took his first bottle while still on the IV. Double eating! Lucky for us, he had no issues, he was just a "slow starter". He was given several blood tests 12 hrs apart to check for infection (he passed!) and was cleared for transfer to the regular newborn nursery/my room that night. He's been with me ever since! 
He's a very content baby, very very very rarely cries, even when he's hungry! He just swats his arms around and tries to eat his hands. We got home Sunday at 12noon and he ate 2-2.5oz every 3.5-4 hrs. I don't know what I did to deserve it, but I think my newborn just slept through the night. His last feed was about 3oz at 12:35am. He peed/pooped at 2am and went right back to sleep. I've woken up to check him 3x since, and he's still sound asleep as I type this at 7am.  I was told never to wake a sleeping baby at night - only wake to feed during the day.
Big brother Logan is incredible, too. He wasn't too interested in the hospital - he came to see me Saturday morning with DH and walked into the room... he was a little overstimulated.
"Mommmmy!!!! [hug]. [head darts to the right] ooooo, a BABY! [head darts to the left] a BALLOON!!!! [head darts towards the window] a HELICOPTER!!!" 
Since we've been home, he's cuddled him on the bed, helped feed his bottle, stood on his stepstool and watched his diaper changes, and kissed him about 9000 times. Overall we have a great adjustment so far.
I can't say enough about my experience with the SB Midwives and the whole hospital process in general. It was very pleasant and I would recommend it to everyone. I was not pushed to breastfeed, I was helped but not nagged/annoyed, it was really perfect.
