I'm embarassed to even ask

Ok, this may sound REALLY stupid but - does anyone know if BDing after O'ing and possible conception affects implantation??

For instance, if DH and I BD tomorrow and let's say we conceive. If we BD a week later - just for fun - will the "activity" cause problems for implantation?

I know I sound ridiculous but I don't want to drive DH nuts with putting our BDing on a schedule with "on and off" times.

I've thought about this myself, and I never asked anyone about it, but I personally don't think this will happen.

My son was a surprise to us, so we never had an "off" time, so he's my proof that sex after O won't affect anything.

I don't think so. I don't have any statistics or studies to back it up, though. My doc mentioned that some women O more than once a month, but if it happens to you, it can only help your chances, right?

I would assume that it wouldn't affect it. I mean, I'm no doctor so I can't say for sure. But with this last cycle, we BD'd and conceived around CD14-ish. A week later (CD20) we BD'd again just for fun and as far as I can tell it had absolutely no affect on the BFP and my little bundle of joy on the way
