Im confused????
So, DH and I went to regsiter at BRU and we were there for an hour and had to leave we fought the whole time
I see that BBB has some stuff I would like to get and BRU, but I dont know if regsitering at both will make it so crazy like it already is.
For example, BBB has this 3 in 1 rocker /swing/toddler seat.By Fisher Price, and BRU does not.
So we regsitered for 2 rockers and 2 portable swings. And Jay was getting so overwhelemed that he kept saying where are we going to put 2 of evrything, so I thought that would be cute to get and now BRU is now saying that some of my stuff is unavailable??
What do I do??

REgistering can be so overwhelming because everything is so new to you and there's so much to remember and put on the list.
I know its easier said than done, we've all been there before
Try to take it bit by bit and just make your goal a few items each time you go, and then maybe add some items online.
We always looked at reviews online before registering so that made it easier to add from home and be sure that it was a decent item.
Just sending you some hugs, this is so normal

Register in both places. A lot of times things at BRU will say unavailable, and then become available right away.
If I were having twins I would def. register for 2 bouncy seats and 2 swings!

DIane you have already seen my registry, but you might want to do what me and DH are doing. We are mainly getting one of things (i.e. walker, rocker chair) since we figure while one is in the walker another can play/relax on something else. The only thing i got 2 of were boppy seats, high chairs, car seats.
Plus, even if you get two swings, one or both might not like them and then you would have to return them.

I can only imagine the arguing about stuff for two babies... my DH and I were fighting when we were there for only 1! It's definitely stressful and overwhelming. More for my DH because he HATES shopping to begin with.
We only registered at BRU since there is no BBB here in NC. So I guess that made it a little easier. You can register at both places, but it will be that much more time consuming, and as long as people know where you're registered I don't see why not. You may want to go with a female friend/relative. They seem to like doing that kind of shopping more and have more patience.

Diane, Really - register at both if you want. So many people do. My friend who just had twins registered at both too for the very same reason.
Its so common to have more than 1 registry now a days.

i would register at both places. i'm getting alot of unavailable on my bru registry and now i wish i had done that.
and i can agree w/ you and ali1, i only want to get 1 swing, 1 bouncy seat, etc... but of course i get comments from all the relatives like "which baby is not getting that". ugh!

I got the 3-in-1 swing from BRU for my Godson. I say register at both places. Don't register for things that you don't really want just because that's all the store has. Because if you get it, then you will be sorry.

We didn't want to do that because my family members who have kids said there are things they are not going to like and things they are going to love. So me adn DH figured why buy two swings to have them take up room and then both of them hate them. That was our thinking with only getting 1 of every toy, except the necessary stuff we need two of. The stuff takes up a lot of room too!

I registered at both palces, simply because one place had things that the other didn't. I also registered for almost two of everything - I don't know where we'll keep it all.

Ditto! People bought stuff from BBB when BRU didn't have it and you will definitely get much use out of (2) bouncy seats. I think you can get away with (1) swing though.

I registed at both BRU and BBB and duplicated items in some cases. I kept a close eye on my registries, and if the item was purchased at one place, I removed it from the other registry.
I still wound up with duplicates, but strangely enough they were items that didn't come off either registry!

be careful with that - BRU is changing their return policy and will require receipts with everything as of 6/12. I was surprised how many people did NOT give gift receipts at my shower.
I guess they assume if its on your registry, you're not returning it.

I would definitely register at both. As for the fighting, dont' bring him when you register - bring someone who just had a baby & knows what features you'd want.
I hated registering. I did over the course of 2 weeks.

I also didn't bring DH. I brought my sister, who was so much more helpful. DH would have gotten so frustrated. The only thing I asked his opinion on was the stroller, because I knew he'd be using it too.
