I'm back
I just had a D&C on Friday. I am so depressed, but trying to get through it. We had 2 sonos, no heartbeat. My blood tests at first showed just a slight rise in my #'s, then they dropped. My doctor was so amazing and compassionate, but there was nothing else to do.
I really am not looking forward to TTC again, but it's not even on my radar right now. I'm just trying to get through this mess.

I'm so sorry!! Take as long as you need until you're ready again, and don't let anyone make you think you *should* jump right back into TTC to "get over" the m/c.... I took over 2 years before jumping back in. I'm finally at a place where I am happy to try again and feel slightly less scared. Time does help you heal, just make sure to lean on DH when you need to, I made the mistake of being too independent and bottled up a lot of emotions I was going through and it made it harder on us in the long run.

I'm so sorry. I've been there and know exactly how you feel. Just take some time and talk to people about it. That's what worked for me.

Thank you all so much for your sweet words. They mean a lot to me. This is a rough time, and one of the hardest things for me is after the D&C. It's just so final, and I feel like my DH handles it so differently than me. He sort of expects me to brush myself off and move on, now that the weeks of wondering are over. He's supportive when I am sad, but it's the other moments that I need him, too. We'll be okay, but I am in such a lousy place right now.
