I'm afraid to feel hopeful.....
b/c I fell like it's just going to be a letdown.
Today is CD28 (I usually get AF on CD 25, 26 or 27) BUT I can't test b/c of the HCG shots that helped to lengthen my luteal phase. I swore all weekend AF was going to show but she hasn't. I want to think maybe it's b/c I'm pregnant but it can also be b/c of the shots. I'm new to this so I'm not really sure how long it can delay your cycle. I hate being in limbo. Wednesday can't get here fast enough. That's test day!

Can I ask how short is your luteal phase? Why did your doc give you HCG instead of progesterone? I have a shorter LP as well, and with my DC-- I had two chemicals before keeping the pregnancy and I asked for progesterone supplements on a hunch (and based on info I got on this board), and that was the first pregnancy I kept-- with no explanation for back to back chemicals prior.

I did Femara for 5 days and the Novarel 3dpo, 6dpo and 9dpo for "luteal phase support".
I don't know why he chose the HCG over progesterone.

i would guess the HCG would def push AF back.
as for progesterone vs HCG - is low progesterone the cause of your needing support for during the LP?? if not than perhaps thats why they choose HCG, cause otherwise it wouldnt make much sense. good luck!

She said it could but my last dose was 9 days ago and only 1,000 units. I guess we'll see.
I think they're just giving me help. I don't have love progesterone that I know of just a shorter cycle.

if you did your last 1,000ius of HCG 9 days ago, theres almost no way it will still be in your system so you can test if you want. ive done the 10,000iu shot has been out of my system by 8-9 DPO. they say it goes out about 1,000iu a day so you prob dont have to worry about it coming up on an HPT. im surprised your beta is so late considering!! good luck!!

Yeah I can't figure out why either. 
Maybe they just have a standard protocol, who knows. I might hold out for FMU tomorrow. I'm CD 29 today which feels promising unless it's the HCG giving me 3-5 days on my cycle. 
Decisions, decisions. Right now I am 14dpo so I guess if the HCG is gone and I test tomorrow that's a pretty safe answer.
