my grandmother went for a colon test and one cell came back ok and one was cancerous. next month she'll have an operation. they have to cut part of her rectum. i'm just nervous. she's 86 and i hope it doesn't spread. we're close to her. its just hard when u live so far away. dh has been great. he said if i can't sleep i could wake him
I have a lot of experience with this-- they will remove it and test frequently for regrowth and as long as she is under proper care they should be able to keep a close watch on everything.
