if your DC started STTN at an older age...
how old were they?
DD is 8.5 months and she does not STTN.
I FF her, she usuallly has two naps during the day (each about 1hr) sometimes a third 30 min nap.
she falls asleep in her swing between 7:30-8pm. then i quickly move her to her crib (which is in our room) <i know>  then she wakes up like around midnight - but not crying, just that her pacifier fell out etc... (we give her tea/or pacifier) but then usually around 2:30/3am she wakes up. shes sitting in her crib, waiting for me. then she starts crying and so i take her into our bed. sometimes give her a bottle if she cant fall asleep, then she sleeps until 7ish.
I know every child is different. But i guess im just writing to see if this is really odd, will she eventually STTN?
She had a couple of nights where she STTN but not recently.
Also do you consider STTN, sleeping straight through from lets say 7pm-7am without waking up even once?

DS started around 12 months. He still wakes up on many occasions, but it has gotten much, much better.

We had to do CIO at 12 months, but after that DS was an excellent sleeper

same, once almost all her teeth came in she started STTN much, much better, but still wakes up for no reason (or at least I don't know the reason) once in a while, DD is 2.5 now.

The very first time my DD SSTN she was 14 months....Since then ( she's almost 16m) it now happens usually 2x a week

DS is almost 10 months, and only STTN a hanfdul of times. He is usually up at 3 or 4 for a bottle.

DD is 28 months. Last night she woke up and for an hour she wouldn't go back to sleep. Is that the norm? No, but it does happen.
So for us, I would say she still does not consistently sleep through the night, but then again, as an adult, neither do I (even before pregnancy & child birth), so I see no reason to expect it from her.

If we consider 6 hours STTN, like most doctor say, then it was 6-7 months but I consider STTN when I don't have to get up from a sound sleep in the middle of the night to change and feed...that happened for DS1 at 9 months.

With one of DC it was about 2 years... CIO was never an option...
Crib in our room too and comes to bed with us upon morning waking

17 months and it's more consistent with DS sleeping all night but my 4 year old is up constantly. I can't win so I've just given up at this point.

Aside from the few weeks that she STTN at around 7wks...Charlie didn't start STTN until the week she turned 1.
She had a setback in the fall after we were away from her daddy (visiting my sister) for 2wks...she spent about 2wks waking up screaming. It passed and she is back to STTN.
Thankfully...that first year of waking every 2hrs to nurse, was rough.

DS is 16.5 months old and is still NOT sleeping through the night on a regular basis. He was a late teether and did not get his 1st tooth until 13 months. He is either teething really bad or he has an ear infection every other week. It seems to rotate where one week he will STTN, then the next week or two he wakes up screaming because he is teething, then another week of STTN and then the next week he has an ear infection that makes him wake up cough all night long.....
DH & I don't know what to do anymore.

11 months when I did CIO but he still wakes up at 19 months sometimes (2-3 times a week)

DD is 4 and still has not slept through a night. We don't get up with her, of course. She gets a book from her nightstand, or plays with her dolls for a bit, then falls back to sleep. We know because we hear her and her room is messed up in the morning.
