If you waited until 6 months to start solids,
did you go as slowly as you would have if you started at 4 months? With DS 1 I was so excited to start on solids that I started at 4 months, as per my ped, and we progressed from there. Cereal for at 4 months, fruits and veggies at 5, and meats at 6 months. With DS 2, although my ped said we can start at 4 months, I'm in no rush. It's easier to just give bottles and since certain recommendations say waiting until 6 months is beneficial (not actually citing any articles, just from what I've read online) I have been more laid back in starting solids. But now if I wait, do I still do one month cereal, next fruits and veggies, then the following month, meats? What did you do?

I started at 6 monts... but I didn't give just a month of cereal and then a month of fruits... I did the 4 day rule... and i have mixed cereal, fruits and vegies from the beginning!
I went off of the Super Baby Food Book... It is my food bible!

we were instructed by our doc & allergist to do one new food per week - but if there are NO allergy concerns, then i'd use the 4 day rule!

I just used the 3 day rule. DS hasn't been a fan so we haven't tried many things yet.
