We have a small, electric snowblower. It does its job and it's wonderful to have.
Luckily, we have a 4-car driveway (double wide) that is the only thing we need to clear. There are no sidewalks on my block.

both a snowblower and shovel. DH used the snowblower for our driveway and sidewalks (we live on a corner property so we have a lot more sidewalk!) and i shoveled the stoop and path (which was a PITA b/c it was buried under like 2 feet of snow). Needless to say my back is still killing me!

Shovel -
We are south facing so once we shovel the walk way - the sun melts everything perfectly -
When it snows we pupposely park both cars on the driveway so there's considerably less to shovel, then park them on the street and let the sun do the rest !!

We have a parking area, so we parked the vehicles there prior to the storm and then DH plowed the driveway & front door walkway with the tractor.
We don't have sidewalks.
We used to have a contract with our landscaper for snow removal, but it was really costly. I think we were paying 800-1000 a winter regardless of how much snow we had.

Pickup truck with a plow, remote start, and a circular driveway... Had the truck set up the night before, so when I went out to plow, had the truck pre-heated, hopped in, turned on the radio, and drove around in a circle for a few minutes... 
One of my future projects for the house is to install a heated driveway, so all I need to do is flip a switch, and all the snow will automatically melt...
