if you know/knew about your shower
so my shower is in 3 weeks i sort of helped plan it...i picked the location and the date..only some people know that i know about it....so my question is do i show up a little late and act surprised or do i just show up early and greet people? what did you do or plan to do?

Mine was not a surprise, I was involved in all of the planning. Was even there early to set up with my mom. I was there before all the guests to greet them

I knew about mine, though I was not really involved in the planning. But I was there beforehand and greeted the guests. Like PP said I'd never act surprised if I wasn't.

Mine is not a surprise and one of the reasons I wanted it that way was so I didn't have to walk in and act all surprised (I knew there was no way they could surprise me).
I plan to be there early to greet people.

I know about it and will be there early taking pics so dh and I will greet people. That way it's out of the way and I can enjoy the rest. My friend had a shower recently and also knew about it and she arrived about the time the party started so she greeted guests as they arrived.

I was not surprised for my bridal shower and showed up a little before all the guests and greeted them all. I figure it will be the same for my baby shower!

I planned mine. I even sent out my invites, decorated, etc.. I didn't act surprised bc I was the first one there! Lol

I showed up kinda earlier and greeted everyone. I think the whole "lemme act surprised bit" is rediculous. I didn't do t for my bridal shower and wasn't doing it for baby either

I knew about my bridal shower and showed up after everyone and it was ridiculous, everyone knew I knew but my mom really though I would act surprised when I walked in 
With the baby shower I kind of feel like people expect the woman to know... I've been to showers where women are surprised and I actually get nervous that someone is going to go into labor from the shock LOL!
But to answer your question I would just be there and greet people as they arrive. That way you can say hello to everyone right off the bat and not have to make rounds after the fact.
