If you held a party at Grimadli's?

I remember reading a couple of great reviews for Grimadli's in Garden City.

I have some questions.
How many people can their party room hold?
Were you allowed to decorate at all?
Were you able to bring your own cake & was there a cake cutting fee?
Were you able to choose your menu? Just want to make sure they have more than pizza.
How many hours was your party?
Did you have many kids? I am scared it will be a zoo, we'll have about 10 kids under 3 years old.
and if you remember, how much per person?

I have not had a party there but it is 5 mins away and so I have seen lots of parties there.

They do not have a party room. They set up smaller groups in the back area next to the bar by the back door and bathrooms. If you had anough you would have that whole area for your group. I have driven by and have met people who have been to showers where they had a huge area in the front.

Whenever I have seen parties I haven't seen decorations on the walls but have seen balloon centerpieces. Keep in mind they put the pizza on stands on the table so if you do much you won't have room for any salads/apps/pizzas. The ones I have seen were bunches with those sand type base holders that don't take up a lot of room.

I have seen people mention around $20 pp but I have not looked into it before. I think if you do a search people on here posted prices. They might have their prices on their website.

I had my DS first birthday there and it was perfect!

It's not a separate party room. They rent out the entire front section of the restaurant. I wouldn't exceed 60 people even though they tell you that it holds more. We had about 60 people and it was just right. Any more and it would have been too tight.

Were you allowed to decorate at all?
Yes, you can go in an hour or so before and decorate. I used a ton of balloons and decorated the cake table to fit the the theme.

Yes - no fee.

They have diff packages. We chose the unlimited pizza menu and that included lots of salads, apps, calzones, etc. they give you a crazy amount of food!!!

How many hours was your party?
I believe ours was about 3-4 hours.

We had about 15 kids. There isn't much room for them to run around, though. We had entertainers set up in a corner of the room to entertain them for about 1.5 hours which was great!

How much per person?
It was $18pp for the Unlimited Pizza menu. This included everything except alcohol... We just ran a tab for that. If you add a pasta course it was $20pp and $22pp to add an entree course. Their prices might have changed since 2011, as that place has had their share of rough times. The owner passed away shortly before our party and the replacement GM just passed away last year.
