if you have stairs going upstairs...
would you mind telling me how high it is from your floor, to the top of the post....we just had our installed, and I think it looks ugly...I feel like it is so high...i'm hoping that maybe it is because its new, and the ballisters aren't in yet....

I thought the same thing when ours was installed. I thought the handrail looked so high and it would look awful when done but I  . It looks so different when it's complete. I believe the height from the stair to the handrail should be between 36" - 38" if I remember correctly.
