If you have Fake Uggs....
Or, if you have tried them on (i.e- any boots that are just like Uggs, but some other brand....)
Are they as warm and comfortable as Uggs? Is there a significant difference between them and the real Uggs?
I have a pair of Uggs (theyre going on their 3rd year now) and eventhough they still look pretty new, i wanted to get another pair- mainly just because i need a black pair of casual boots, and the ones i have are Sand colored.
Anyway, i saw at Payless that they had ones by Airwalk (dont know anything about them) and theyre only $40. I dont really want to pay $$$ for another pair of Uggs, but i wanted to see if the fake ones are basically "you get what you pay for". If that's the case, i'll probably just bit the bullet and buy the real ones again.
Any experiences to share?

Re: If you have Fake Uggs....
I think there is a definite difference in quality.. considering they are $40 for the fake , I would rather get the real deal. If you dont want to pay full price, you can get the kids uggs kids uggs at nordies , or some websites have a 20% off coupon code

I had the ones from Target before I had Uggs and they were fine and because they were $19.99 I didn't care if they got wet or dirty!

Re: If you have Fake Uggs....
I have a few pairs of fake "uggs", which I bought in Australia. They are not fake "uggs", because uggs are not a brand there, they are a kind of boot. The brand UGG is an American brand.
I do have two pairs of UGG brand boots. One I bought 3 years ago and one I bought 1 1/2 years ago. The older pair is made in Australia the second pair is made in China. The Australian pair is better quality.
Anyway, to answer your question, just make sure they are sheepskin. They will keep your feet just as warm. I have two pairs that are not UGG brand. Australians don't often wear the UGG brand (they wear them as slippers and out to the grocery store, not around town) and their feet are just as warm. Considering they invented it, I would believe it .

Re: If you have Fake Uggs....
yes - i wear them in bad weather (i don't ever wear my "real" uggs in wet weather.)
I got them at Costco. They're Kirkland brand - $34.99, sheepskin, made in Austrailia, in the Classic Tall style. Honestly, they're EXACTLY like my Uggs. Same warmth, same look. The only thing they're missing is the patch on the back that says "UGG".
