If you have ATT as your cell phone provider

Do you love them or hate them. Thinking about switching over to them at the end of the month.

I don't love them.

I don't get any reception sitting on the train at Penn. Some people can talk while in the tunnels, I can't sitting in the station.

And for some reason I only get intermittant internet access at my desk on my iPhone. We don't have wifi in the office but I should be able to get online with my 3G service.

I dont have any complaints.

I dont get reception in the tunnel at Penn Station but i think its because AT&T doesnt have any cell towers (or whatever they are called) in Penn like Verizion does.

I have had them since 2000 and I love them... I have my issues with service every once in a while, but I honestly can not complain.

I do have some issues when I am in Penn... I will definitely call now after reading this post

I think AT&T is great. I haven't had more issues with dropped calls with AT&T then I did with Verizon. I also think that if the merge with T-Mobile goes through, their service will only get better.

This week I love them. I've been with them for 10 years now. They were EXCELLENT when they were Cingular then they switched back to AT&T and I was not pleased but they've steadily been improving lately. I had to call CS the other day and they were excellent. I also have cell service where most people don't.

I used to have this problem with an old iphone.. after months of complaining and calling ATT, it wasn't a service issue, it was a software issue with my phone.. once I got a new one, VOILA! back to great service again..

My phone is pretty new with current software updates. I tried hard resets and all that jazz but I'll give them a call or maybe stop in the service place right near Penn. Thanks, it's good to know it might be a solvable problem.

No issues with them at all. Had them since 2000 or so. I have NEVER had a dropped call!

Before them I had Sprint. I hate Sprint!!!!

I live in Central CT and travel as far as Long Island.

I don't have any more complaints than I did while using Verizon. I switched to ATT for the iphone a few years ago and haven't looked back since.

I've been with them for a long time (when they were Cingular) and then DH joined on my plan...we've had no complaints, really and every time our contract is up, we find we can't do any better...I also have 3G for my Ipad and find that when I don't have WiFi access, I have no issue with the 3G service...

I have no issues with them. Have had them for about a year (caved for the iphone, was on Sprint)

I kind of hate them ! I only went with them for the iPhone 4 and then Verizon had to go and make a fool out of me. I had no service at all in my house but they just gave me a free 3g mico cell for my modem and now I have 5 bars in my house.

I really like them. Their customer service is great. As far as cell service...I have great service except for a few spots on the Jackie Robinson Parkway and the Van Wyke

I had issues years ago but none the past several years. I really dont get dropped calls anymore where as I use to all the time in the past

dropped call here and there; but good service/wide area. my phone is ancient.

I love them. I usually have reception where others don't, and very few dropped calls. There are a few spots that I know I don't get service, so I just make it a point to not be on the phone at that location. They can't be everywhere, but they come pretty close. They just added a number of towers too, so the service has gotten even better. Like a PP said, I think that their service will get better if the merger goes through with T-Mobile.

Also, their customer service is amazing!! I had some weird problem with my phone where voicemail and then text messaging didn't work. It took a couple of days to fix, but they called me once or twice a day to update me on where they stood. They even adjusted my bill without me even asking since I had stuff that wasn't working through no fault of my own. Also, if I have to go into the store for something, it is nice and quick and they are really helpful.

When I was on Verizon (and currently my parents who are still on Verizon find this) I always had more problems when I had to get customer service involved. If I had to go into the store, I knew it would be at least an hour. If I had to call, I usually had to deal with about 3 different people until I finally got someone who almost knew what I wanted and managed to screw something up - so I would have like 3 1 hour calls to get things straightened out.

I hate them!!!! The service is awful. I only got it for the iPhone, now I can't wait to switch back to verizon.

I generally don't have any issues, although I don't get cellphone service at my house, which is pretty annoying. But, I bought a MicroCell, which is a device that you plug into your router and it creates a full signal. So it's still annoying because I will lose calls if I'm talking while approaching my house, but it's not a huge inconvenience.
