If you have a sitter who comes to your house or your child goes to a house, what do you pay them?
I am hoping after the baby to go back 3 weekdays & Saturday (4 days a week) and was wondering what does a sitter who comes to your house get paid per day?
If your child goes to someones home to watched, what do they get? I am thinking more of a one child senario if you bring your child to someones house to be watched. Not like a day care setting with multiple kids.

I apy 25 a day for a sitter who watched mikayla in her home, she has 4 kids of her own who are also home with them

$10 per hour. But I do it on an hourly basis, it's never a whole day.

I have used sitters that watch a few kids in their home. I have either paid $5-$6 per hour or with my current sitter it is $50 a day flexible hours for a full day, or $40 a day for a toddler.

I am just not sure that doing the day care thing is for us. So I am hoping to even be able to find some for 2-3 weekdays.
My little sister is saying she would love to sit for us maybe 1 weekday & Saturday! That would be amazing!! She keeps saying no pay, but even if we compromise & I paid her 1/2 or 3/4 of the amount.....it would really make things easier for us.
Thanks girls!! I am a little more at ease knowing it is not quite as pricey as daycare centers seem to be!

I pay $10 an hour and I am at home all the time and do diaper changes, get snacks ready etc..all she has to do is to play with DD and keep her out of trouble
