How big is your house and how much do you pay to get it cleaned?

How many square feet is your house and how much do you pay to get it cleaned?

I'm asking because I am 7 months pregnant and can't clean as effectively as I used to. We have someone coming (recommended by a close family friend) to give us an estimate to clean our house, and I don't want to get ripped off. We have a fairly large house - about 4,000 square feet...just wondering what I should expect to pay every 2 weeks to get it cleaned?

Multi-level split - 3 bedrooms, 1 & half baths, kitchen, living, dining, den, basement office. I pay $60 a week. We have a dog.

I pay $20.00/hour every two weeks.

4,000 sq ft, 5 BR/5 baths- and I pay $85 -but we are still doing construction, so she doesnt clean the entire house-just the main level.
She told me it will be $100 when the house is completed, which I think is pretty good-I get her every other week.

My house is just over 4000 sq feet. we pay $120 every other week. but it is just my husband an i so there is not all that much to clean.

My house is about the same size 10 rooms plus a huge finished basement, and I spend $180/month (every other week).

wow- I was not getting a good deal on my apartment- I was paying $65 for about 800 square feet

4bds 2 baths about 1600 sq ft. I pay $70 every two weeks.

$20 per hour..usually takes her about 2 1/2 hours every 2 weeks...but I am pretty tidy and tidy before the cleaner arrives ..I know...pathetic!!

I am jealous of all you ladies with the 4000 sq ft..homes...please tell me they are not on LI..

4200 sq feet (5bedrooms) plus bonus room. I happily pay $120.00 every 2 weeks, when I can find someone reliable.

1,800 sq. ft. for 3 bedrooms, LR, DR, Kitchen & 2 baths. I pay $60 every 2 weeks.

3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom

She washes the sheets and makes the bed and also cleans the refrigerator out completely.

First cleaning was $100

Every other week it is $75

My mom just got us one since I am preggo - I'm not sure on how many square feet - but it's a 4BR/BTH colonial and they charge me $80.00 every other week. They originally said $70 - but my mother told them she would give them $80 (Don't ask why she would give them more - she's nutty!)

no clue about square footage, but i ts 4 BR, 3 Bath, 2 LR, DR, Kitchen and its just DH & I - I pay $100 every 2 weeks and its worth every single penny - I my cleaning people

$70. I have no idea of square footage but she seems to charge everyone in my family the same. My mother, MIL, SIL and I use her. My mother's house is the biggest, but we get more traffic and we have a dog. She has been doing my mom's house for years and I believe that we would all pay a lot more to someone else.

I have about 2000 sq feet and my cleaning lady is ME! and sadly enuf, I enjoy every last minute of it.

I had a cleaning girl once for a month and I just cleaned over what she cleaned as soon as she left. So I figured why waste the $$.. No one can clean my house up to my standards, I have a serious problem..

2 Bdrs,LR,DR,2 bathroom,basement & kitchen. I don't know the sq footage of my house .

I like to clean myself BUT now that i have a child and the only time I get to spend with her is the weekends DH and I decided it was worth the $$$ to have someone clean. She does a great job overall.
