I got pregnant on the first try. My period is very regular so I went on an ovulation calculator site and it told me the day I would be most fertile. I went to see my dr beofre we started trying and she told me to come see her if it didn't happen in 4-6 months. She also advised me to try every other day.

We decided to start trying -- kind of a see what happens kind of thing -- right before I went on vacation with my mom. We BD three times before I left (during my fertile time) and I got a BFP. We were very, VERY fortunate.

when we decided to start trying in Nov 2009, we got pregnant on the first try. I used the ovulation calculator and we DTD that night, the next morning and the next night. Unfortunatley it ended with a MC but the next time we tried, I did the same thing and got a BFP again. Again another MC but the final time, no planning. We actually we "being safe" and somehow it happened.

We got preggo 2nd month but we followed Deanna's plan. I used an OPK to determine when I was o'ing. Got the smiley BD'ed 3 days in a row, skipped a day, BD'ed once more. We also used pre seed (you can buy it at CVS--it supposedly makes the sperm swim where they need to go faster lol)

actually preesee is just a lube that doesnt kill sperm... so its TTC friendly... it doesnt have any other affects in regards ttc!

Only twice! Once on CD 15, once on CD 19 which was the day I got my smiley. It was our 2nd month trying and the first month using OPKs.

We  about five times that week. I used fertility friend and mydays app to find out when i would O. I also puchased an opk and got my smiley one to two days before the calendar said i would. I also got cramps the day i ovulated. I didnt temp but i felt my temp was higher that week and thereafter.

We weren't really trying to get pregnant, but I had went off birth control (mainly because I didnt have a doctor in VA - where i was living to prescribe it). We only did it once that month (as DH was affraid to come near me) and are now expecting in January....

we were on vacation when it happened so we were bd'ing every day
eta: my first pregnancy, which resulted in a loss, we only bd'ed once (weren't trying to get preggo but also weren't against it happening)

Actually, that is also incorrect...Preseed mimicks fertile cervial mucous (EWCM) and in turn, yes, it does help the sperm to get where they need to go. I used pre-seed for both my pregnancies and since I think it helpes, I definitely recommend it!
