how often do you go? How long do you find that your nails look nice for?

Once a week. By the end of the week they already look like crap. For instance, I went last Saturday, I soooooooo didn't want to go today but I had huge chips on 5 different nails.

I lasted whole 6 days with a dark manicure last week... no chips or anything! I was so stoked!!
Usually I can go about 4.
Once it starts to chip I have to take it off immediately. Chipped nail polish skeeves me.

It depends....... some weeks they last better than others.
Typically I will go once a week and by day 5 I am ready for a redo.

I don't get regular manicures at all, but when I do they last 2-3 days TOPS! If it's a dark polish, even less.

Depends on the week. I got a manicure last Monday and it still looks good today. Last week, however, I got a chip on day 3. This is better, however, then when I do it myself. Then it only lasts 1 day.

I went back to the OPI gel
it lasted 3 weeks (I still have it on cause I haven't had time)
I even bartended with it and no chips or anything

I have come to realize that I can't get manicures every week.. I was noticing that all the filing and buffing and cuticle cutting was making my nails weaker and break easily..
I know go every 2-3 weeks and just refresh the polish on my own or get a polish change at the place..
it makes my nails stronger and the polish lasts longer..

I have acrylic white perm french. 3 weeks.
I could probably go longer but they get too long and I need to cut them.

A regular mani will only last a day if I'm lucky!  I used to have silk wraps years ago that would last 2-3 weeks, but I hated being tied to the salon. I actually just bought the supplies to do Gelish manicures (similar to shellac) at home and I'm on day 5 and they look perfect and SO shiny. So easy to do also! I'm hoping to get 2 weeks out of them. So far so good!
