Re: If you don't temp...
I use the CBEFM. Love it so far. This is my 2nd cycle using it. I'm on CD7 today.

Re: If you don't temp...
Temping is the only way to actually know that you "O'd". The CBEFM and the CBE Digital OPK's will only detect your LH surge and from what I have read and learned from lots of ladies on here even if you detect your LH surge with an OPK it still doesn't mean that you "O'd".
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Gotcha! But if you don't temp, how can you figure out how many DPO you are? Do you just have to give it your best guess? Or wait 2 weeks after last BD to test?? Anyone else not temp that can help me figure this out?

Not wrong at all. The only way to confirm O is to temp or be checked by doc (bloodwork and/or sono I believe).
If you don't want to temp you'll have to just make a guess as to when you O'd in order to determine dpo.

Re: If you don't temp...
CBE digital OPK
works every time for me
eta: i calculate DPO by taking the day after i get my as the day i O
as for asking how you know if you truly o'd.. if you're not temping then bloodwork from the dr shows it.
i'm being monitored by an RE, so they test my blood

Re: If you don't temp...
I didn't test or use OPK's and I knew exactly when I was Oing. I was checking my cervix and mucus every evening. To me it was fairly obvious when I was Oing.

I think that you O anywhere between 12-36 hours after you get a positive OPK so most people count DPO by using that time frame.

Re: If you don't temp...
I've never been spot on determining when I O. When I conceived my DD, I used OPKs and thought I didn't O, but I got preggo. So I normally test on the day AF is due. I figure if I O'd early or late, it had happened by that date.

Re: If you don't temp...
I recently started temping and I would judge it by my CM and I knew round about where I was in my cycle. Well here I am 15 months later and this is my second month temping. I didn't want to drive myself crazy with temping in the beginning. But since I've had no results I started to.

Re: If you don't temp...
This is a stupid question but when you temp and you "O" does your temp. go up or down to indicate?
