yes...and i'm not even done with school. I might still do school psych, but stop with my masters, b/c i HATE doing research and HATE working on my dissertation.

Another possibility I've considered is becoming an Occupational Therapist, specializing in Sensory Integration Disorders.

I have also thought about being a special education teacher.

Well if I could go back in time to that exact moment that I decided to transfer out of F.I.T, I would do it and just stay there.
it took me a long time to decide what I wanted to be, but I did it.
but yes, I would if it means better opportunities for you.

I would definitly change my career. Its not at all what I thought I would be doing! I am gonna get my butt back in school I think and finish my degree and do what I really wanted to. I know I will regret it later if I dont, since I am starting to now already!

Yes, I would go with what I have my degree in instead of something I didn't go to school for. I feel like I wasted all those years in college!!

yes...at 18 all I wanted to do was hair. My parents laughed at me and DH said that is silly. So I went to college, now I have an AA, I have to go back to school for 7 more classes, and all I still want to do is hair. I think I am going to just do it though.

OMG, in a heartbeat. If I could go back in time, I would have done a lot of things different. For one, when my dad talked me out of college, I would've just gone anyway because that's what I really wanted to do. Right now I could've been a teacher, but instead I'm miserable doing what I do. I know it's never too late, but I want to start a family real soon...what to do???

luckily, i changed my mind while still in college. This fall I'm starting a new path, and hopefully I'll be happier. (Although I'm NOT happy about being a perpetual student!)

Not exactly. I wouldn't change my career I would change locking myself in though. I'm a pharmacist and have worked in retail since graduating so at this point I really don't have any clinical background to get a job outside of retail. I may try though because I am burnt out!

In a hearbeat.....but I would have changed alot. I would have stayed in college the first time. And I would have gone pre-law...which is what I always wanted to do & in the past few years have found myself wanting to go to law school again.

Maybe... for me it's not necessarily the line of work I'm in (teacher) it's my very demanding schedule of all college level classes that they stick me with every year. The pace and prep is unbelievable. I've been there too long to start over somewhere else.

If I could cut back the hours of prep and teach three classes a day I'd love it.
