If you are breastfeeding

What nursing pads did you get
Disposable?

Also, are you going to put the n*pple cream on before the baby is born. I hear this really helps out. Which cream will you use?

I didn't either until I read it in a magazine. There were 3 kinds at BRU.

Funny story about the washable ones....

My sister used these. Well one day at work I'm taking to my BIL (we work together) and some other co-workers. BIL looks distracted and is trying to stamp his foot on the sly. Another co-worker says "everything alright?"

BIL says "yeah, there's just something wierd going on with my pant leg, like it's caught up in my sock or something" He starts pulling at his pant leg and out falls one of my sisters nursing pads Chat Icon

We all knew what it was and just couldn't help but laugh Chat Icon It was pretty good Chat Icon

...I will be using the washable kind and DRYER SHEETS Chat Icon

Re: If you are breastfeeding

Just a word of advice, for me for the first 6 months or so, the disposables were the only ones that worked -- I leaked right through the washables. After 6 months or so I could use the washables.

I liked the Lansinoh ones the best.

Also, use the Lansinoh brand lanolin cream -- it's the purest. All other brands say they should be wiped off before you feed the baby.

I used the disposable. I had enough from the hospital to last me months.

Re: If you are breastfeeding

I like the johnson & johnson ones the best. The are not lumpy and have no crease from being folded in the box. I feel that they are the most inconspicuous(sp?). And YES use the cream first to prepare your nipples.
