ideas!!! last min weekend getaway
k ladies i need your help! me and the DH are going to go away for the weekend! supposed to be "0 " this weekend so hopefully it;ll work out nice!!  
any ideas were we can go not too far because we have to be back on sunday early

There are so many possibilities. Are you looking for beach, history, culture, sports?...
And how far are you open to driving?
I can think of a few weekend trips offhand...
Lake George (relaxing by the lake)
Cape May (beach in victorian setting)
Newport (lotsa history, beach and mansions)

Def beach and relaxing we have to be back on Sunday at 10 am so not too far 2 hours away maybe?

Cape May on the jersey shore is nice. It is more laid back than the other places.

DH and I are actually out here now on a mini vaca, it's like a different world out here. So relaxing and calm. Love it here

Montauk for sure! I was just there a week and a half ago. Beautiful beaches, great restaurants, not too far away.
