Ideas for a family day with 2 yo in hot weather?
DH is off tomorrow and we were hoping to go to the Bronx Zoo but with the weather forecast at 90 degres I don't think it's a good idea. Any suggestions for something fun to do in the heat besides the LICM? I was thinking acquarium but DH isn't so into that idea. Where would you go?

Adventureland...even if it's hot, there is a kiddie log flume that you get a bit wet on, there are alot of covered rides, there are a lot of shady areas, plenty of misting fans around the park for park goers to stand in, and a nice very cool a/c arcade and a/c food court area.

movies, chuck e cheese, painting, bowling (regular with the bumpers and ramps or mini bowling- I know they have that in coram), licm
Then do lunch at friendlys or something like that.
I personally dont like doing the aquarium on hot days because the outdoor shows are painful in the heat!
