I would like to give a shout out to my boobies!
I finished my first box of NUK breastmilk bags today - so that means my freezer stash is at a grand total of. . . . .
300oz!!!!!

WOW...I hate to ask but do you have a back up in case of a power outtage? I had pumped early on when DS was only a few weeks old- I had planned on giving him a bottle of pumped milk from time to time but never got it together so fed him from the source but I lost about 40 ozs of pumped milk when the power went out and we were away. SO dont let that happen seen as you have such a supply built up.

Once or twice a day I will nurse DD
She drinks 21-24oz a day if I nurse or not so I feel like she doesn't get much from me.

I have them on the bottom of the deep freezer AND my FIL has a generator - LOL - and losing power is my biggest fear!

Good for you! That's awesome! Every time we have projected bad weather or high winds/storms I always freak out about my freezer stash. We have a backup plan just in case, but it is my obssession during bad weather!

That is incredible!!!!! I was never able to pump and am AMAZED by moms who can. I can nurse DS just fine and still am at 21 months but nothing happens when I pump

She nurses on both sides, but that is a new thing - she HATED the left side. I called an LC and she said to start on the right side using a cradle hold and then just move her over, meaning dont flip her around, and trick her into taking the left side - that worked sometimes.
Now, I mostly do "laid back" breastfeediing but she is getting so long that she kind of hangs off of me LOL
In the beginning I would have a bottle ready to go and give it to her after a while, if she got too crazy -- now I have been able to satisfy her for a few hours without hte backup bottle.
Once she "got it" that was it - now I can skip a day or two and she will still nurse. I thought it would never happen but it did eventually!
