I went to...
Sperm Meets Egg Plan to read about "Deanna's Plan" (since maybeamommy (sp?) mentioned it to me in another post) and was wondering your thoughts on OPKs and FMU???
I've been testing in the AM and it says NOT to use FMU since the surge happens throughout the day... what's worked for you?

You're not supposed to use FMU since your body synthesizes LH in the daytime which means you won't catch that surge in your urine until the afternoon or evening.
You can use FMU... I have done it... but then I only got 1 +OPK. This made me think I was catching the tail end of my surge.
Example:
Testing in the morning might give you...
Monday AM -OPK
Tuesday AM +OPK
Wednesday AM - OPK
Testing between 2 and 8 pm might give you (same cycle)...
Monday PM - +OPK
Tuesday PM +OPK
Wednesday PM -OPK
Having the +OPK on Monday would give you notice of O more far in advance than only testing in the morning. Does that make sense?
