I was in Gymboree today and

while I don't really have a preference for a boy or a girl, when I saw all the darling baby girl stuff [socks, t-shirts...]I actually said out loud, "I want a girl." Luckilly, no one heard me! LOL. I guess I do want a girl more than I realized...DH and I were discussing names [I like to figure this stuff out in advance, mull over the decision for the duration of the pregnancy and then at the last minute, make a change if I feel the need...it's how I named our first] and I had TONS of girl names, but seriously came up with only 3 boy names.


I honestly don't care one way or the other, but I suppose I'm a little partial after all.

When I was about 8 weeks pregnant the first time, I happened to be at Target and wandered over to the baby clothes. I immediately gravitated toward the girl section and fell in love! I had to literally talk myself into going to the boy side to convince myself there was cute stuff there too. I was secretly wanting a girl from the start. So, I know exactly what you mean!!

I dont care if I have a boy or girl, as long as its healthy. I do have to say though, there are a lot more choices of girls clothes than boys.

I thought I preferred a boy first, but now that I know i'm having a girl - I'm so happy!! The clothes and everything are so cute
