I thought we lost Andrew last night...
I was scared out of my mind. He just started rolling over yesterday and it's seems like that's all he wants to do. Last night for some reason I woke up at 5 am and looked on the monitor and saw he was on his belly. I ran in the room and checked his breathing. I couldn't feel him breathing. In those seconds a million fears rushed through my head. I lifted his leg and it went limp. Then I flipped him over so fast and it looked like he snapped out of it. His arms and legs went straight out and he had this weird look on his face.
Now I am so paranoid that this will happen again. I am calling the dr. today because DebG's son with the apnea made me think maybe Andrew has this.
Is there anyway to stop him from going on his belly at night

Ive had scary moments in other situations wth my kids (toddlers running off) and its the worse feeling ever

I think they can get into a really deep sleep where they go limp and their breathing gets very light, not the rapid type we are used to from them. This happened to me once but now I can totally tell the difference between when she's in a deep sleep or not.

That must have been so scary...
You can also get the Angel Care Monitor that goes off if it doesn't detect movement for 20 seconds.

We use this and I feel so much better looking over in the middle of the night and seeing the light flash every time she moves. I had a SIDS baby so I had fears of it happening again. Without this monitor I wouldn't sleep. I highly recommend it.
