I THOUGHT COLD/FLU SEASON WAS OVER!!!! And a little queston..
DS is sick, AGAIN. Every month at least it seems. I was sooo looking forward to the warm months b/c everybody kept telling me it would get better, but here we are in the warmest part of the year and it seems worse. He is SOOOO congested, has a fever, and pretty darn cranky. He is almost 16 months old, temp is 100.8. At what point do you guys usually call the ped? TIA for any advice or hugs.. I'm so tired and HATE when my baby boy is so sick..

for me its when the fever is all day over 102. rash or vomitting.
we had it here, its not the flu, just allergies for us, good luck.

Can they run a fever with allergies?

This used to be my son for the longest time. He had what i thought was a cold at least once every month. We finally figured out at 3 years old he has allergies, and is extremly allergic to our dog (who is now with my mil). My son used to run fevers with his allergies. Its possible. He is now on perscription allergy medicine and hes like a brand new kid.

IMO colds are all year. My ds is still getting over one that started a week ago. And he can get low grade temps when he has a cold. I wouldn't be calling the Ped unless the temp is over 102 or if DC looks like he is having breathing problems.

My dd got her first ear infection now.. I hate seeing her sick.
 's to all the sick little ones!! I hope they all get better soon.

How did they finally figure out it was allergies and not a cold?
