I think we are getting another Pug....
DH's coworker, needs to get rid of his 1.5 yo Pug because he travels too much and its not fair to the dog. He was going to bring it to the shelter. My husband overheard the conversation and called me and asked if we could take him. we were going to look for another Pug after the baby comes, but that was a few months off.
He is house trained, UTD on his shots and neutered.
I think it will be good for my other Pug b/c he loves to play and my Peke, is a loner and likes to be by herself. She cannot be bothered to play with her brother.
We get him saturday.
ANd by the way, his name is already Frankie...coincidence?

I think this will be great for your dog. At least the energetic pup will have a pal when baby arrives. My dog is so much happier since we got him a baby sister doggie. I say go for it!

Yup...I am hoping that when I call the name "frankie" at least one of the three living in the house will respond. They are all males, so they odds of them all responding are not likely...I needed to increase my odds a bit.

when other dogs come to visit, my Pug cannot be bothered with his human friends, he just loves other dogs so much. I feel bad b/c my Peke, never wants to play with him, ever.
