I think this month was our last on Clomid...*UPDATE*

The last 6 days I have been beyond doubled over in pain - the last 24 being the worst.

I at first chalked it up to AF being on her way as it all started on CD 23 - but apparently the Clomid was beginning to release eggs from my ovaries (or my internal organs are eating themselves alive) - I would rather assume that it is the clomid working.

I have spent 45 of the last 48 hours with a hot compress over my tummy, pamprin around the clock, the pain is so bad when its full force that I almost cant breathe. It makes me think - if this month does work - where do I sign up for the c-section now??

I have not ovulated in the past 7 years *so i dont remember the pain* to having this hyperstimulation that is making me rethink this whole TTC thing..

A few more hours of this and Good Sam ER here I come - just to make sure its not an appendix bursting - and if that is the case - I will recant my TTC vent...

UPDATE:

I went to the ER and saw one of the OB's from my practice - they did a BHCG (negative - CD29) - since we were on Clomid 50mg this month - my ovaries are HUGE - Apparently, what had happened was that the follicles just got as big as they could and they all started bursting over the last 6 days. They did a sono and I have a large amount of free floating fluid around my ovaries, and were considering to keep me to do laproscopic surgery to drain all of the fluid. Luckily, we were able to come to an agreement that I will follow up in the office this week to make sure the fluid is slowly getting absorbed from my body.. and apparently that was my first and ONLY attempt at clomid

Thanks for the suggestions of going to the ER - it really could have been a problem had I not gone today..

wow i would go to the ER if it is that bad...better safe then sorry if it is your appendix!

i have never had pains from clomid
i know everyone is different but my husband has his appendix out and we were told the pain starts near your belly button, then it becomes so bad when it is in your right side

i would go to the ER if I were you

I would probably go to the doctors or ER. I know alot of people who took Clomid and they never had this reaction, so I would want to be on the safe side.

I agree I think you need to go to the ER asap.
