I think my MIL is trying to kill me....
with HEARTBURN, went over the inlaws for dinner earlier tonight, meatballs and sauce, OMG I feel so gross, she is trying to kill me one meatball at a time! 
anyone else still suffering from heartburn? I was hoping it would die down after the 1st trimester!

I had heartburn the whole time with DD
My MIL's homemade sauce is the best but I would get heartburn just smelling it
She always sends us home with extra but the smell of it in the fridge makes me throw up. I made DH get rid of it 2 days ago and then take the garbage out so I wouldn't smell it. I can still smell it. I gag every time I open the fridge

I really hate to break it to you but the heartburn just gets worse as you get further along.  Its just one of those wonderful pregnancy symptoms

UGH!!! that totally sucks that it gets worse! I had it pretty bad at times in the 1st trimester, I guess I will just have to pass on the meatballs from now on!

So there's some truth to that old wives tale about heartburn indicating a full head of hair! All the babies in my family have TONS of hair, but on DH's side they're all baldies! So hopefully this heartburn is a sign this LO is taking after my side

Yay for hair monkeys, lol!! Yeap allison was born w a full head of hair. I asked the sono tech this time around if she saw any hair at my 36 wk appt and she said a little, not a lot. With allison, the sono tech pointed it out like wow! Babys got ALOT of hair, so at least for me the old wives tale holds true. I'm willing to bet your little one will have lots of hair!

Its not the meatballs, its the sauce. Sauce is very acidic and just makes heartburn worse. Feel better

ohhhh no it gets worse ~ Dairy helps and wait awhile before laying down. I have been eating yogurt 1/2 hr before bed and it has been helping. My prenatal even gives me heartburn lately!

I get heartburn everyday at 3 - like clockwork. Doesn't matter what I eat and it was like this for my earlier two pregnancies as well (except that it started at 10 weeks this time!)
Zantac works wonders!
