So after trying to figure out what MIL could buy for DD...
...she said she doesn't want to buy DD anything because she doesn't need it. Instead she bought stuff for BIL's baby from his affair I know DD has a lot of clothes (most of which my mom bought) but MIL carried on about how much she wanted to take DD shopping and buy her things.
Oh yeah, MIL has also bought things for herself when she admits that she has too much clothing.
Sorry for complaining about MIL. I just feel bad that she came here talking about all of the stuff she wanted to do with DD/for DD and she hasn't done anything with her that requires any effort. She plays with her for a few minutes and then wants someone else to take care of her. MIL thinks we should get a nanny so that we can be free to go out whenever we want and someone else will do the work
