I think its over....update#2
Last night I started spotting (light pink), and was getting bad cramps, today still have bad cramps and now everytime I wipe it is bright red. Nothing is really coming out onto the pad though. I don't know what to do, I was 5 weeks yesterday
I have an appointment at 1:45, but it really doesn't look good.
Well, I am back from the doctors. He did a sono, and didn't see anything, and said that my uterian(sp) lining look very thin, and it is more than likely that I had a miscarriage. He took blood and I have to go back on Wednesday to get more blood taken to compare my numbers.

some women just bleed, my mom bled for 4 months while pregnant with me... so you gotta go to the hospital and check whats going on... good luck

When this happened to me, i decided to just stay home and see what happened. I just didnt want to be poked and touched at that time. I would do what your body tells you to do, and call your dr on monday morning.

Honestly, the hospital will do nothing for you. At 5 weeks, it's unlikely that they would find anything on a sonogram (too early), and they will keep you waiting forever which is more stressful.
Try to just relax through the weekend. MANY women bleed during the early weeks of pg.
Again, RELAXING is by far the best thing right now.....

i started bleeding also. i became very frantic. i called my doctor and she admitted me to the hospital. i'm fine, tho, and still pregnant. apparently it's OLD blood. either way, please, please call your doctor. just knowing will keep you sane. good luck and i hope all works out for you.

Many women spot or bleed early on and it's not necessarily an indication that you miscarried. I would definitely call your doctor and see if they can see you on Monday. They can at least take blood and run some other tests. I hope everything works out.
