Friday. I bought the First Response Early Pregnancy test and since I am not sure when to expect AF ( since it has been different days every month for the past 3 months) I think Friday is a safe day. It will be CD 30 and I have been getting AF anywhere from the 16th -20th. Test says you can use it as early as 5 days before.
Does this sound like a good idea? I dont want to disappoint myself. This first 2ww has been hard enough.
ETA: Well BFN so either too early still or Im out.
It's usually better to wait until after AF is due, but who am I to talk?? I POAS at every chance I get! But because of that, I am spending way too much $$ on tests.
Just so you know though, even though the tests say you can test 5 days early... if you look at the accuracy it's only something like 60% at that time. Also, if you aren't sure when you ovulated, then you can't be sure when AF is set to arrive... so you might be testing way too early - KWIM?
Thank you all for the advice. I do realize the test is only a certain percent accurate before a missed period so maybe I will just wait so I dont get disappointed.
I actually thought I was out yesterday, CD 27. I had cramps and a little bit of discharge and I thought for sure it was the beginning of my period but it stopped and now I feel fine so we'll see....
