If you were nasty to her about it to her face or went around telling everyone what you thought, THEN I'd think you were a snob (and probably some other choice words ), but you kept it to yourself. You are more than entitled to think whatever you want! I know I DO! It's just a fact of life.

I don't think you are a snob. I think what has happened is that we all spent too much time on LIW and now we are more critical of weddings than the average person. The bride's non-LIW friend could gush over her pics but you set the bar higher because of your planning experiences.

I was super-critical of DH's cousin's weddin three months after ours. I picked it apart and the rest of the family thought it was wonderful.

i have opinions about everything....but unless i can put it nicely when asked, i keep them to my self.

some people have horrible taste. thats just life. and it doesnt make you a snob.

a snob would point out how great your own wedding was and put this person down and get personal satisfaction out of it.

clearly you did not do that.
