I really need some advice here...!

So, back last weekend, I got my smiley on Friday...I also used a stick and the line, had gotten darker from the prior day but still wasn't as dark as the control line. The next day, I didn't use a digital, but I used a stick and the line had definetley gotten darker. (I counted this as O Day). The following day, Sunday, I took a digital and I didn't get a smiley..counted this as 1dpo. Also did a stick and the line had started to get lighter again.

I stopped testing as I figured I had Oed and confirmed with the digital that I had stopped.

NOW, today is 6dpo, I have no hpt here and I know I had read someplace that the pregnancy hormone mimics the O hormone...I knew for a fact it wasn't a 100% indication but on a big whim I did an opk stick test....well, line came up super dark!!! Like probally darker than it ever came up when I O last weekend.

So, what do you guys think????? Should I get a hpt? Could I have effed up my O date? Ughhh..or could I have started to surge and then not O? and now I am...which isn't the worst thing because now I could bd tonight.... PLEASE, I need everyones advice.

i do not have pcos

i had a chemical last month but my ob told me i could try again right away.

i had blood work and my hcg level came back at 3 which was 3 weeks ago now.

eta: i really dont think i should but i am going to test with a opk digital now to see what happens. even though a smiley will eff my mind up even more.

Have you gotten your period since your miscarriage? The line tests are so confusing it's possible that you have the wrong od. I would just use the digital opks from now on. Have you thought about trying the bbt method? That paired with fertility friend.com and digital opks really helped me understand when I was oing

i got the same super dark line on a OPK at like 14DPO one day... and i get AF a few hours later... 6DPO is way too early to begin with...

6dpo is WAY too early for hpt. I think u maybe should just test w/digitals from now on. Less confusing.

I think you should stick with smileys consistently and chill out for a few days and then just test with a hpt. Oh and keep BDing in the meantime lol, but I personally wouldn't be trying to use OPKs as an early hpt.

hey everyone, crazzzy day so i couldnt get on to thank everyone for their responses.

i know i shouldn't have tested this morning with that stupid stick opk but i was half bored, half anxious and you guys know how it is when you are being an insane ttc lady...well anyway, i took an hpt in the afternoon because of course at that point, i had to just do it. im glad i did so that i wouldnt have false hope. obviously it was negative at this point regardless.

BUT what good came out of this is i truly think that I must have surged and never Oed. Or even if thats not the case, no big deal, just more BD. the other reason I am thinking that I am Ovulating now is that I just got ewcm for the first time this month. Well either way....

I would wait until at least 12 days dpo

I actually always wait until AF is late but I know some can't wait. I was just sick of wasting money on tests and beingndisappointed

After I had my first baby, I went right back to a 28 day cycle. When trying for #2, I would get a + on about 14/15 on the OPK, then get my period at 28 days. This went on for a few cycles, so I started charting my temps. Turns out I was surging on day 14, but not Oing until day 18/19.

Perhaps you surged but didn't ovulate and you caught your second surge.
