I promise that with every effort I can make...
this will be the last of my complaining. With the plan in place I feel like we can move forward and I can stop complaining about it all.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I wouldn't blame a single person that  at me after the second or third bite. I know it seemed so obvious to pull him out but we were a little stuck at the time and also a part of being so new at this had us in shell shock...something I am sure I will regret letter.
But it is my deepest intention and hope that next week will be the beginning of something new and better and I can get back to what I was trying to do today before the call...get back to normal...adore pictures of all of your beautiful children, share advice and tips and continue to learn from everyone here.
So tomorrow will be a better day.

no need to apologize, I know how it can be,with two parents working at times your hands can be tied.
Plus this is the reason we are all hear to listen to each other and share the good the bad & the ugly...lol

I never thought that of your or b/c how could you make such a decision in a couple of days? Plus, you never know til you've been in that position. What if one of us were the parent of the biter? Outside of the biting, it seems Lucas is happy where he is - so it must be such a painful decision for you to pull him - we understand, and we're here for you.

no reason to apologize as that is what we are here for.
I can't say hat the heck I would do in the same situation...you want to believe so badly that this daycare has the best intentions and I mean cmon, this all happened in the last few days.

I hope it wasnt my shock of 5 bites that gave the impression of I was just felt really bad that it happened to your little boy. I hope it wasnt me who gave off the impression b/c it was totally not meant that way.. I know how hard it is with both parents working. I wish you all the best, and vent away!!! I think we all know how hard it is these days raising these little ones and how expensive things are.

I don't think you are complaining too much, I feel really badly for you and Lucas. I haven't been on a lot to post these days.
I actually am sending DS to daycare in a few months and am praying that something like this doesn't happen to us, or even worse that DS isn't "the biter". Good luck with everything

my sister always struggled with the short daycare hours. It is a shame.

You have every right to complain. Also anyone their eyes saying they would pull him out after 1-2 bites isn't being realistic. Biting is common in any social situation with Lucas's age group. What isn't common is to have a daycare repeatedly do nothing about it.
You did the right thing IMO. Vent away. I'd be pizzed too.

You guys are doing everything right. You have tried to stay calm. You have talked to the center and given them a chance to correct the situation and now you are taking action. The only thing I would say is when this is all over make sure you file a formal complaint against the center. It might help someone else in the future.
