I need your advice
I have been ttc for 10 months I am almost in my tww. I am 28 and dh is 29 . Dh had a sa and he is good and I had a ultrasound and cd3 bloodwork by my gyno and everything is good so far. We have been using the CBEFM for the past three months and bding on schedule before that we used OPk and bded on scedule. Dh doesnt wnat me to go to a RE til we have been trying at least a year. My gyno said to come back to her after a year is I am not pg and she will do a HSg and take the next steps. My cycles range from31-34 days. I was on BCP for 7years but I went off in Oct 2006. I need advice should I see an RE now I have PPo so I can I am staying postive but as I am sure you girls can relate it is hard at times. I am trying to relax bc I think that it has a affect. Thanx in advance

Re: I need your advice
My advice is DO NOT WAIT! My Dr. wanted me to wait and I am soooo glad I did not! Go with your gut feeling, if you wanna see a specialist no one should tell you to wait! BOTB

Re: I need your advice
Don't wait. If you feel something is wrong, go to an RE. Tell them you have been trying for a year - hopefully nothing will be wrong, but if there is something you can work on it now. Not just start the process in a year.
Good Luck with you decision.

Re: I need your advice
I agree...my doctor didn't seem to think there was any need for me to go, I basically told her I wanted to go and I"m glad I did.

Re: I need your advice
My gyn wanted me to wait a year but I did not agree and went to a RE after 6 months of perfectly timed BD using OPK. The truth is that with OPK and CBEFM, most women will get pg fairly quickly. From my informal surveys of women I know and women who get BFP's on this site, it seems to take less than 6 months for most. I would definitely go to the RE sooner rather than later. The good news is that you are young but I still wouldn't wait to go.

Re: I need your advice
I too agree- Do not wait !....I made the mistake of sticking with my Gyn and wasted 7 valuable months...After seeing an RE we were successful after just 3...If you really feel that there could be an issue, speaking to an RE won't hurt !...Good Luck to you in whatever you decide !
